Company Overview

SunRay Lawn and Landscape, LLC (SunRay) is a Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified business that originated in August of 2017 with the intention of focusing on conservation landscapes. SunRay quickly gained traction by offering affordable maintenance, design and installation options to clients who struggled with efficiently maintaining their stormwater management facilities.

SunRay has since enhanced their stormwater management portfolio to include other green infrastructure practices including; permeable pavers (installation and maintenance), pond and other BMPl retrofits & stormwater design and installation.

Ground Maintenance

Our company has since enhanced their  landscaping portfolio to include additional ground maintenance services. Including grass care, winter de-icing treatments, snow removal, trimming, edging and pruning, mulch replacement, carpentry services, and more.

Our Clients

Clean Water Partnership (CWP)

Prince George’s County and Corvias implemented the Clean Water Partnership (CWP) as the solution to its stormwater regulatory challenges.

SunRay joined The CWP early of 2018 and has held a routine-maintenance contract since. SunRay actively bids and has been awarded functional-maintenance and construction sites over the past 2 years. SunRay has done many bmp retrofits,  stabilization jobs, sod installations, and large scale planting jobs. One example is the construction and soil amendment to 5 aquatic benches at a pond retrofit which we installed 600 aquatic quart sized plants. Another is the installation of 50 red twig dogwoods for Mattaponi Elementary School. Most recently 1200 perennials, shrubs and trees were planted on a Prince George’s County median.

SunRay was also highlighted in the CWP Newsletter in July 2020 for Contractor Spotlight.
